ALL ABOUT
HALFLINGS GOODS
As with previous chapters, we have two new production buildings unique to the chapter.
Similar to previous chapters, the different types of goods can be classified as follows... well, sort of.
-
Goods that build upgrade guest race buildings - "Building Goods"
-
Goods that produce research goods - "Production Goods"
-
Goods that unlock research - "Research Goods"
The research goods are also used for some of the building upgrades.
We also have a new permanent "Other Resource" added to the game -
"Divine Seeds" from the Improved Trader.
BUILDING GOODS
To build or upgrade the Grain Fields, you'll need:

Magic Fertilizer from Halfling Farm
PRODUCTION GOODS
To produce the goods you'll need to get through research, you'll need:

Wheat from Level 1 Grain Field

Carrots from Level 2 Grain Field

Pumpkins from Level 3 Grain Field

Apples from Level 4 Grain Field
RESEARCH GOODS
To unlock research, or to upgrade the Spring Grove or Halfling Farms, you'll need these goods, produced in the Halfling Farms:

Tingle Bread from Wheat, Carrots, and Magic Dust

Savvy Soup from Carrots, Pumpkins, and Elixir

Jolly Jelly from Pumpkins, Apples, and Gems

Each of the research goods, including Tingle Bread, are needed throughout and up until the end of the chapter.
This means you'll either need to plan your production very carefully, or be sure to keep at least some of each level field in your city up until the very end of the chapter.
Upgrading Fields too soon and not being able to produce enough of the goods needed for Tingle Bread or Savvy Soup could prove to be a very costly mistake, so be careful to ensure you can always produce enough of each production good to keep up with research needs.
Here is a calculator you can use to see more details on production by farm and portal level, and to calculate how many of each type of good you need for all the research in the chapter.
